What’s on in December at the Academy?
There are lots of courses running throughout December that can be booked in advance now, so take a look below and don’t delay in securing your place. We may also add additional dates in the future, so keep checking our live calendar and look out for emails from us if none of the dates are suitable.

MOT Tester Training
A three day course for experienced technicians who would like to become an MOT tester.
- Monday 5th - Wednesday 7th December
- Wednesday 7th - Friday 9th December
- Monday 19th - Wednesday 21st December
MOT Centre Management
A two day course for prospective MOT managers or current site managers.
- Thursday 1st - Friday 2nd December
- Monday 12th - Tuesday 13th December
IMI Accreditation Light Vehicle Inspection Level 3
A three day course for technicians who would like to become an MOT tester but don’t hold a relevant level 3 qualification. The assessment can also be taken on its own as a one day course (on the last day of the dates shown below).
- Wednesday 14th - Friday 16th December
- Monday 19th - Wednesday 21st December
Annual Training
One of the MOT annual training packages offered by the RMI takes place at the RMI Academy as a classroom session. This package allows you to take three hours of classroom training and take the annual assessment across one day at the Academy, meeting DVSA’s mandatory requirements for the year.

Thursday 22nd December
We are experiencing high demand for these due to the annual training deadline in March 2017, so we may add further dates. Feel free to call us if you'd like to find out more information.
Christmas Opening Hours
Please note that there will be no courses running between 24th December and Monday 2nd January, due to bank holidays and the Christmas period.
Courses can be booked by calling the IGA member helpline on 0845 305 4230, and remember that by using the RMI Academy for your training you receive significantly reduced pricing as a benefit of RMI membership.
