Course overview:
The purpose of this training course is to develop a greater understanding of how to efficiently and accurately use the basic functions of a modern multi-meter in motor vehicle applications. Using a blend of theory, electrical component examples and on vehicle testing, a useful and interesting insight into using a multi-meter as an electrical and diagnostic test aid will be gained.

Participants will learn:
-
The basic functions of the multi-meter, including operation and calibration
-
A greater understanding of Voltage (AC & DC), Current and Resistance as found in electrical circuits and components
-
How to put into practice some of the electrical testing and fault finding skills developed above, using a mixture of components and on vehicle examples
-
If time permits, technicians will have the opportunity to focus on other aspects of vehicle electrics
