What’s on at the RMI Academies – New training venue open in the South!
The nights are drawing in and the clocks are falling back – but the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills is still set to spring forward with our range of training courses to ensure your business is running at its finest.
As well as our two Academies in Southam and Runcorn, we are now proud to offer courses at our NEW RMI Winchester Training Centre. This expansion means we can provide training for even more technicians across the UK – so whether your technicians are new to MOT testing or experienced in the industry, we can help you to support your staff and strengthen your business with high quality, cost-effective training.
Courses at our new venue begin later this month, so be sure to register your interest early to secure a place.
What’s more, the RMI Academies are now offering MOT course bundles, so your technicians can complete all their necessary qualifications at a cost suited to your needs. Our Academies are here to support you, not make a profit for shareholders – so we can give you the best training at the best possible prices.

MOT Annual Training
The MOT Tester Annual training year syllabus for 2018/19 requires a comprehensive understanding of the revised MOT Inspection Manual which came into force on May 20th 2018, with an increased pass mark of 70%.
Because the changes have affected every tester, on every MOT test carried out we are advising all testers to consider their 2018/19 Annual Training early. As well as this, now that the EU Directive 2014/45 has been implemented in the GB Testing Scheme there are considerable changes that testers need to be aware of.
For further information about the new Annual Training syllabus and the packages we offer, you can view our MOT Annual Training Update for November 2018.
RMI Academy training centres are open to all eligible candidates and Testing Stations; however, members of the RMI can take advantage of preferential prices as a benefit of membership.
